Students are encouraged to engage with a Tourism and Hospitality business identified in the course or draw upon their own industry experience to uncover a key strategic management issue for a business in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Some key areas of strategic management in the Tourism and Hospitality industry that may be of interest could include the following; competition, resources, competitive advantage, business level strategy, corporate level strategy, organisation structure and controls, globalisation, entrepreneurship, leadership and sustainability. Deliverables Individual students are to submit their written report of no more than 1,500 words to the Turnitin drop box on Moodle by 23:59 on Sunday of Week Important Instructions This Assessment is individual and contributes 30% to the final mark for the course. Introduction
Strategic management within the context of the business operations of the business companies is denoting the formulation process of various strategies in order to manage the organisational activities. The strategic management process is offering resources in front of the business companies and these resources help to manage the external as well as internal environment of the organisation. In this assignment, the effective strategic management is used to meet the issues that are coming in terms of the leadership and sustainability within the context of Intro Travel of Sydney. There is the presence of issues that the company is facing due to the lack of leadership and sustainability within their organisational structure and the process of mitigation of these issues are also clearly presented.

INTRO travel is one of the Australian Travel companies, which is offering tourism and hospitality services to its customers or tourists. Identifying the problem
There is the presence of different issues that are associated with the process of leadership. Lack of leadership within the organisational management process is serving hindrance in the maintenance of effective tourism and hospitality services of the company. It is observed that the employees within the organisational structure cannot be able to communicate properly with others and with the customers. Due to the lack of proper communication with the customers and other associated members, the hospitality services of the company are affected. As opined by Wang, Fu and Ye (2018), this process also imparts a negative impact among the tourists in terms of the services of the employees.
