Assessment and testing has been an integral part of our educational journey. As a student, it is likely that you have been a test taker many times. What do you know about the types of tests that you have taken in your educational experience?

1. Can you determine which test was “achievement” oriented or which one was “ability” oriented? Have you taken a “diagnostic” test? How was it different? Were the test results shared with you? How did the test results impact your education? Were you able to incorporate any of the information gained from taking these types of tests?
