Assessment 2 will familiarize students with current local, national or global ethical issue.  You will work individually to prepare a report on a case study, which must be agreed to by the lecturer by week 7.  Each student will chose a case study related to any current issue affecting at the local, national or global scale.  The case study must not be from the text book.  Report Structure must include:  Title Page  Executive summary  Table of contents  Introduction- History/background: What is the issue at hand? Where is the issue prevalent? Why is it important?  A brief history of the organization  Discussion of the case  Your Argument  Ethical Decision Making Approaches & Theories o Explain which ethical decision making approaches and theories your relied upon to reach your conclusions and why.  Summary/Conclusion o Restate the importance of the issue o Paint the picture of the world if your plan is or not implemented  Reference List  Appendix (include any supplementary tables or images here) Research Requirements • Research required supporting discussion and analysis in report. Sources should be varied and include, but not limited to, the Textbook, Newspaper articles, Books and Journal articles. • A minimum of 10resources and at least 5 being academic in nature (journal articles, books, professional periodicals). • You should also use the EBSCO Databases, accessible through the Library Moodle page. Nepotism is a significant issue that hampers the productivity of a company. This is an unlawful practice, which can be provoking the deviant behaviour of other employees in the organisation. The conflicts that arise due to nepotism and the reputation that is harmed is tough to get back once a company is suspected of such disrespectful practices within their business premises.
Prevalence and Significance of the Issue
The general proficiency and the prosperity of the work will be diminished under such situations. This is being practised in small, medium to large-sized organisations and this is being a part of an international company. They are recruiting special personnel for gaining business assignments illegally. This is a global issue of concern, which has generated the attention of economists, social activists and business leaders. In this case, a certain case of nepotism for a Chinese company named JPMorgan Cash is upheld. The company has recruited the child of a particular state-controlled company for financial gains, which has led to scrutiny of the company by the authority.
History of Organisation
JPMorgan Chase was first established in the year of 1799 for supplying pure water to the population of the city, which was founded by Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr (JPMorgan Chase, 2021). Later on, it has extended its work for chemical manufacturing. This multinational investment bank was established in New York and Jamie demon was its CEO. Although it is a well-reputed international bank, which has successfully added to the country's economic growth, there have been a series of corrupt practices by this one (JPMorgan Chase, 2021).
There have been instances of favouritism and nepotism in this bank for a long time. In addition to that, the Hong Kong office of this company has also recruited the daughter of the Chinese official who was detained because she was accused of breaching the government contract for getting money.
