Strengths:
How do you see your strengths playing out in your roles?
My role as an innovation strategist has played a vital role in developing and understanding the market requirement for the consumers as well as the organization chosen Nokia. Beliefs and making that belief to become a reality is one of the greatest strength one can have in the
market to compete with other competitors. Having strong judgement about decision making process related to product, service provided and in other sectors of need has proven to be a success for me as well as the organization (Schoemaker et al. 2018). Generally carrying out a particular set of rule for a particular product may be satisfying at first but eventually, changes need to be accepted for long-term benefits and to make sure the product is well presented in the market with its brand value.
What value do your strengths offer others?
Sticking on to the decision made by me for the product launch or its production gives a sense of satisfaction and trust among the workers and the people working under me to make the project a success. This increases the value of confidence and also make them stronger in terms of mental stability to achieve the desired goal. According to Dawid et al. (2016), higher standards are today's world utmost demand as everybody; almost all the consumers want the best of the best in their hands in terms of technology. Long-term benefits for shorter term benefits are more important, depending upon the circumstances some methods need to be changed, and new methods are in need which can totally change the way the project was initially set-up. This may create a sense of injustice among the associates and different level of people present in the project. But making them believe and standing on the decision which is thoroughly analyzed and planned give me an upper hand to maintain the decorum.
What value do your strengths offer to process linked to leadership?
Being an entrepreneur and innovation strategist, I have to make sure that all the materials for the specific project are made available to the associates and the people working in teams. Taking ownership of the success and fails requires courage and stand on skills that help in leadership qualities. Planning of the entire scenario and the requirement, deadlines of the workload and maintain the process is done exclusively considering the timeline in which the product has to be delivered (Coulson-Thomas, 2018). Before doing that analyzing the demand and innovate the technology with better amenities as per the need of the consumer, must be addressed. Innovation is the byproduct of envisioning something great and bigger than just the one product that needs to be done in a certain amount of time. Entrepreneurs always are up to something new which can be developed fast as well as suitable for the current demand. Thinking ahead in the future requires experience and exposure to the local environment rather than only on the premises of the company. Skills develop and reshape the entire mindset of entrepreneurs.
Opportunities:
What challenges does it present?
Challenges are a part of everything in day to day life. When it comes to an organization like Nokia it has a greater impact on the market as well as the company. Nokia as well being in the technology market of mobile phones has to be well advanced and well knowledgeable in all the different types of software's and hardware's they can provide. People believe Nokia has its own reputation for the quality they provide and they like to retain trust. Technology market in enhancing day by day and in almost every six months a new technology is on the way (Kappos, 2018). So the biggest challenge is to compete with new features and brand value for the customers. Not only one product is enough to make an impact and name among the competitors but also regular innovation is important. This also creates a challenge which involves keeping the minds at work...
