Assembly line workers have a certain speed when they assemble together one toy. As an incentive, the headquarters offers a one-time bonus to anyone or any group who can speed up the production. You, a worker on the factory-level, spend a lot of time with the toys and have a new technique in how they are assembled that requires a new tool but makes the whole process much faster. You think if you do a little experiment with 10-15 of your fellow workers with the new technique, you can convince the higher-ups that this is going to increase production and thus make the company more money. You make randomly selected 7 of your friends to work a whole day using the old methods and 7 of your friends using the new method. The data (in number of toys assembled) are:
Xold: 13, 12, 17, 21, 9, 17, 11Xnew: 18, 18, 18, 22, 12, 15, 15
