As you would read below, you would pick a stock and follow from March 4th till end of day March 25th so you can finish your work and send back to me by March 28th. so please do not rush it. Please pick any stock you may wish but it would have to be a company in the United States.

PROJECT:

Students can either do the project individually or form into teams of two or three members to work on the project. It is important that each student participate. The paper should be five to six pages in length, starting with an executive summary and ending with a conclusion.

The project will consist of picking stocks, and following the performance of the portfolio over the course of the FIN 610 class. Explain on what basis the securities were chosen, e.g. net profit margin, projected growth, etc. Compare the actual return and compare the performance with the S&P 500 over the same period of time. You must choose two stocks per team member and track the performance for at least four weeks. Assume that you have $50,000 to invest (as a group).
