As you should have seen in the prior question, our spectral clustering does not work very well when the underlying graph is disconnected. Modify the function casl_spectral_clust to include an option that applies spectral clustering independently to each connected component. Return these components, pasted back together, along with an extra column indicating which connected component an observation is in. Retest with the simulated spiral data using only the 4 symmetric nearest neighbors.
