Note that ‘Adults’ refers to both men and women but not women who are planning a pregnancy, are pregnant or are breastfeeding.Although ‘Wellness’ as a concept is slowly seeping into the Australian vocabulary and culture, currently, there are no Australian Guidelines for Wellness. In the learning materials covering the Nutritional Aspects of Wellness, we went through the Australian Dietary Guidelines and in the learning materials covering the Physical Activity Aspects of Wellness, we went through the Australian Guidelines for Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour.However, as you will see in the Week 8, 9 and 10 Learning Materials covering the Psychological Aspects of Wellness, similar Australian guidelines will not be covered because there are currently no Australian Guidelines for Psychological Health.Therefore, your task is to create your own ‘Australian Wellness Guidelines for Adults’ by coming up with 9 Guidelines, which you think should be included in these guidelines” in terms of the Nutritional (3 Guidelines), Physical Activity (3 Guidelines) and Psychological Aspects (3 Guidelines) of Wellness.Format:Use the following Headings and provide written material for each of the Headings below.What are the Australian Wellness Guidelines for Adults and what are they meant to achieve?Provide a short introduction for your Australian Wellness Guidelines for Adults.Nine Guidelines as belowFor each of your 9 guidelines provide a short guideline statement and underneath provide a bit of detail on what the guideline refers to and a short explanation as to why you chose it as being important to have in the “Top 9” ‘Australian Wellness Guidelines for Adults’.
