As a student, are you provided with feedback about how well you are able to critically self-reflect on your clinical reasoning? Can you think of ways to improve on your capability in this area? As an educator, do the learning activities you provide for learners intentionally include opportunities to clinically reason in brand new (to them), complex situations? In the practice setting, how do you facilitate the development of learners’ skills in critical self-reflection and self-directed learning?
