As a reminder , you donthave to only define activities where you did during this semester you have to make sure to do self-reflection as well.

If you only go through course activities and define what you done, you will fail.

You have to make sure first define what you have done, followed by that writing about impact and evidence plus add your self reflection about this course and how it would impacted on your future life and career.

So if I want to summarizewhat I mentioned :

1): make sure to go through marking criteria and find about how I am going to mark you2): In regards your impact part please make sure to justify rather than just talk a little bit3) : For evidence part I need everyone show me the reference and external sources where you used.So make sure rather than writing the course content blend it with your self reflection as well.4): Also, I need you justify all your learning from this course and what you learned and show me in two or more paragraph how it could have effect in your future life and career.5): plus do self reflection on any topic like AI, big data or..6): Your report should have cover page and refrenecepage.

Although the learning activities do not carry any assessable weight by themselves, completing them and seeking input from your peers and the learning facilitator is essential for you to achieving a positive result in the subject. Before beginning this assessment, be sure that you have completed the learning activities in all of the modules. Instructions: As you begin this subject, start and keep a learning journal that you add to during the process of learning about the foundations of information systems. A suggested format for the learning journal is as follows: Date Learning Activity Impact Evidence (You are free to have another format of your choosing, and if you do, the following comments will need to be adjusted.) MIS500-Assign3 Page 2 of 3 For each day in your learning journey, write the date and then the learning activity you engaged in. Detail what impact the learning had on you and then include any evidence you might like to keep later. This journal should be appended to this assessment when you submit it. To do this assessment well, you will need to engage in reflective analysis. Reflection is what happens when you are quiet and calm and have appropriate time to study and is how you integrate the materials in this subject with what you already know. Sometimes the materials may challenge what you already know, and at other times it may create new knowledge, opinions or ways you will integrate into your professional practice. Reflection is not a cursory comment about a learning activity but instead is an authentic assessment as it involves you being vulnerable, allowing your personal beliefs and the way you perceive the world around you to be challenged and, if necessary, changed by what you learn. An important element of reflection is your incorporation of your belief system, your morals and ethics as well as how you view the impact of information systems on people. Toward the end of the trimester, take your learning journal and then build a narrative that summarises the journey and learnings you undertook while studying this subject. You should refer to specific journal entries and/or extracts from learning activities to demonstrate your learning. You should refer to how you can apply the learnings in your future career or the organisation you currently work for. Should you wish to you can focus your self reflection on one aspect of the subject from the following topics : - Business Intelligence and Big data - Cybersecurity - Agile Methods and system development - CRM technologies - SCM Technologies There is no required format for the assessment. Students should use initiative and be sure to conform to the APA referencing style, making use of external sources as appropriate. Be sure to bookend your assignment with an introduction and conclusion. You may also like to append your learning activities or other artefacts that demonstrate the attainment of your learning or the ways in which the learning materials have affected you personally. Submission Instructions: Do not leave this assessment to the last minute! You are expected to begin this assessment when you begin the trimester, especially as you relate the learning activities (formative assessment) to this and the other (summative) assessments. Be sure to keep several drafts of your work as well as your notes and any sources you used to draw on in preparing it. Although the journal is not part of the word count in this assessment, to get the level of richness required, it is expected that it will be approximately twice the number of words in the assessable component of the assessment. MIS500-Assign3 Page 3 of 3 Be sure to build a narrative as your learning journal on its own will not be read. Extensions will be considered only in extenuating circumstances where the student has applied before the due date. At that point, students are required to provide the latest draft, in case the extension is not granted. Students are responsible for keeping appropriate back-ups and drafts of their assignments and to submit the correct version. Torrens University Australia policies apply to the preparation and submission of this assignment. Learning Rubric: Assessment Three Assessment Criteria Fail (Unacceptable) 0-49% Pass (Functional) 50-64% Credit (Proficient) 65-74% Distinction (Advanced) 75 -84% High Distinction (Exceptional) 85-100% Cogency and completeness of learning journey 40% The learning journey has been cursorily put together and needs significant work in scoping and recounting how the student has developed. The scope of the report needs significant adjustment and the student needs further work in demonstrating how they have changed as a result of undergoing the subject. The scope of the learning journey may need to be adjusted or the account provided may need more imagination as to how the subject developed the student. The learning journey has a scope that is good and includes a very good account of how the student changed as a person and as a professional. The learning journey narrative has been scoped well and includes a complete account of how the student changed, both as a person and a professional. Depth of learning journey demonstrated in the narrative 40% The learning journey has been cursorily put together and needs significant work in demonstrating how the subject has developed the student. The learning journey has a passable level of detail; more work is needed to demonstrate how the subject has changed the student as a result of undergoing it. The learning journey shows an average level of depth; there may not be any vulnerability or detail in how they have changed as a result of undergoing the subject. The learning journey has a good level of depth and the student has shown a hint of vulnerability as well as good detail in how they have grown as a person and as a professional. The learning journey is chronicled to an appropriate depth and the student has shown vulnerability as well as significant detail in growing as a person as a professional. Use of artefacts to support demonstration of learning journey 20% It may be obvious that the student has not completed self-directed study or completed the learning activities. Significant more work is needed to demonstrate the work the student did in the subject. The student can be seen to have made an attempt to refer to work they have done in their study of the subject to illustrate their journey. The assessment includes a good number of references to work the student has previously done in the subject to illustrate their journey. The assessment includes a very good number and frequency of references to work the student has previously done, to illustrate their journey. The assessment includes numerous references to the learning journal and learning activities throughout. MIS500-Assign3 Page 3 of 3

Reflective Journal on Information System
As per my experience during the classes I found that Information system is a very fast subject. If one start liking it then it can become very enjoyable to study. My lecturer taught me this subject for the whole semester. He teaches with amazing patience and experience. I concentrated during the lectures and made my notes. These notes are very descriptive and it contains some important keywords also.
The very first step was to get exposed with the possibilities and hurdles of the information system. This step helped me to understand that what we are using r
ight now is much less than what actually this technology can do. We can expand the new uses with this but it will get some challenges for us as well. The second thing which I learnt from this subject is how the information system can help us in businesses which will allow us to gain competitive advantage over other rivals. I feel so lucky that I got the chance to learn this subject.
Information system is a very vast subject which includes multiple sub topics. This helps us to grow our business and manage the tasks of the business. There are multiple components of the system like hardware, software, telecommunications, data warehouses, human resources and procedures. It is the complete package which is required to establish any business and manage the tasks. It helps in securing the data and managing it. There are multiple digital goods like electronic books, video products and software are delivered using the information system.
Information System
Information system, an integrated set of components for collecting, storing, and processing data and for providing information, knowledge, and digital products. Business firms and other organizations rely on information systems to carry out and manage their operations, interact with their customers and suppliers, and compete in the marketplace. (Vladimir Zwass)
As the given definition I learnt that information system is a complete package which can help us in controlling the data. It can help the user to collect and store the data to process it in future. One organization can completely rely on this as this helps in executing and managing the operations. It helps in improving the customer relationship management also. During my studies I also learnt the importance of CRM. Obviously, a customer is the most important part of the organization. An organization needs a customer to whom they can sell their product and they need to be treated well. The important aspect is to maintain a long-term relationship with the customers so that they can trust you for any feature. A trust is required as they are sharing their personal data with us. The information system is required to interorganizational supply chains and market. There are multiple well known companies which completely rely over the information system. These companies are Google, Amazon, eBay, Alibaba and many more. The corporations use information systems to process the financial accounts and human resources and online policies for customers.
The basic idea of information system is to modernize the companies and influence organizations to make profits. It can help the organization to achieve their goals by managing the daily operations and monitor the progress. For the user it is important to understand the differences between the data, information and knowledge before implementing the information system. Our lecturer taught us how the data has importance.
Data
The basic activity which is the most important aspect for any information system to establish is the data. The data is nothing but just raw facts about the task or person. It can be name, number, date or address. I learnt that whatever data we collect is dependent on what information needs to be extrapolated for the efficiency. (Kumar and Palvia, 2001) Data is the factual information used for reasoning, calculation and discussion. Data is based on some particular subject to draw information and gain knowledge.
Information
After studying about the data, I came across a very important question that data is just raw fact then how we can use them. I got the answer from our lecturer and the answer is information. Information can be defined as the interpretation of the data. True value is placed on data when it is organized in a proper way. (Stair and Reynolds, 2006) When we have information then it has qualities like flexibility, relevance, simplicity, accessibility etc.
Knowledge
According to the notes which I made the third important part of information system is knowledge. It can be defined as the process which can convert the data into information and hence very important for any organization. This transformation of data and information is based on the creation of relationships between sets of data. In an information system, Knowledge can be described as: “an awareness and understanding of a set of information and the ways that information can be used to support a specific task or reach a decision” (Stair and Reynolds, 2006).
It would be easier if we try to understand using an example. Suppose, a company is wants to increase their sale numbers. For this the company should collect data for customer’s preference, purchasing habits of customers, day of sales and sale number in last month or days. Then the company would draw knowledge from this data. This knowledge can be used for information. Stair and Reynolds (2006) state, “Therefore, information can be considered data made more useful through the application of knowledge”
Information Management and Data Management
We have learnt about the information and data but it is also important to manage them in a positive way to so that they can be used. Information Management can be defined as a program held in organization to manage the people, process and technology which can help them to control the structure, processes, delivery and usage. Information can be electronic or physical. As information is very important then organization must be able to...
