Enterprise and entrepreneurial culture are an important yet ignored aspect of businesses today. However, successful companies follow their cultures religiously and this has led to the enormous success they see to
day. This paper analyses enterprise and entrepreneurial culture in two companies, a corporate company – Unilever and a start-up, Daily Harvest. Both the companies have proved to be huge success with enormous profit margins. In this paper, we go through each company’s salient features and how it follows a set entrepreneurial culture. We also discuss which has a better entrepreneurial culture and why.

Introduction
Organisations continuously strive to maximize their profit and create a sustainable environment to further their scope and chances of growth. In doing so, they adopt a variety of initiatives. The focus is to harvest, the intelligence, emotional and spiritual talents within an organisation or what is commonly known today as entrepreneurial culture.
So, entrepreneurial culture can be defined as the behaviour or habits prevalent within an organisation in order to ensure entrepreneurial success or the success of the organisation as a whole. Change is one factor common to all markets. Entrepreneurial culture needs to respond to the changes in business environment and the business itself in order to ensure that the organisation continuously makes progress in the changing world.
Some elements that can signify the effectiveness of entrepreneurial culture are openness, adaptability, results and rewards. These four elements are highly indicative of the type of entrepreneurial culture an organisation presents.
Openness-
Maintaining open channels of communicaton is vital to creating an enterprise culture. The employees need to know about the vision and direction of the company. Only then can the values of the company be executed down to the very foundations of the organisation. Employees need to know about the difficulties and opportunities faced by the company in order to become a part and parcel of the organisation.
Adaptability-
The organisation must have a certain level of adaptability to adjust to continuous changes occurring within and without the organisation. This would enable the business to enter a loop of continuous growth and form a part of the culture of the organisation.
Results-
Entrepreneurial culture shows distinct results. The achievement that it makes through the application of sustainable growth and set values reflects on the outcome of the organisation. Thus the performance of an organisation is an open indicator of the healthy implementation of entrepreneurial culture within an organisation.
Rewards
The organisation is rewarded for its efforts of continuous implementation of a definite and distinct entrepreneurial culture. This reward comes in the form of increased sales, increased good will, rise in demand of the company’s products and also in the form of continuing demand for the company’s products.
Entrepreneurial culture does not grow on its own, it needs to be nurtured and created. This can be done in multiple ways. One important way is to establish a strong leadership that the organisation is willing to follow. A strong leadership creates the appropriate environment and setting for the implementation of entrepreneurial culture. It not only build a new culture but includes desirable attributes and eliminates undesirable attributes of old cultures.
