Artificial light really is light. It exposes camera film in the same way that natural light does. Hence, the fact that it is “artificial” does not mean that it is fake or simulated light. It simply means that it was created by human technology and not nature. So, if scientists create artificial intelligence in computers that can duplicate the cognitive activities of humans, wouldn’t it make sense to consider their artificial intelligence to be real intelligence?
