The article that is selected for carrying out this particular task is “Covid-19: the U.S. Breaks Daily Record with over 99,000 New Cases as Surge Quickens” from The New York Times as it is relevant to global public health in recent times. At present, it is highlighted in article 1 that the U.S. is breaking daily records in terms of the COVID-19 as the cases are surging quickly to more than 99,000-1, 00,000. Furthermore, more than 24 states are also reporting their worst week ever for the new cases. It is quite evident that deaths and also hospitalisations in this country are trending upwards. Cities are also issuing warnings as the cases are going up daily.
