Organisational change refers to alteration or modification in the work or work environment in an organisation. Many different factors can result in organisational change. Change in these factors result in change in the organisation. These factors can roughly be classified into External forces and Internal forces.
External forces cause change from outside the organisation. The organisation has no control over these factors. As a result it must adjust to the changes resulting from external forces. Some important factors are-
