and the difference between the passive resister and active resister. As a police officer, one
has to keep in mind the two factors before using force on a passive resister. In fact, a passive
resister does not use force but at the same time, he/she does not comply with the given
commands of the police officer. In such a situation where passive resister is not comply to the
orders, the police officer may seek help of his/her partner and go for the arrest gently by taking
the arm of the arrestee and pulling him/her to his/her stomach so that handcuffs are [placed on
