This paper looks into effectively and efficiently concluding an analysis of an organization from the strategic management
point of view. This analysis will be done from various perspectives of strategic management and the same will be done
through linking the theories of strategic management as well as the real world practices which are carried out by the
company under discussion. The company that will be looked into for this is Amzon.com or Amazon which is an US based
electronic commerce company. The company was established in the year 1994. During last few years of the operations
of the company it has become the largest global Internet based retailer by total sales and market capitalization. Amazon
is a company which is constantly adding to its strategic course through changing the short terms tactics for the
improvement in the reach and presence of the company across the globe in addition to its domestic market. This makes
the company a very relevant one for the analysis from the strategic management point of view.
