After you’ve read the speech, respond to the list of questions on 368—the bullet points. • Respond to the posts of at least two of your colleagues. Responses need to add something to the discussion. Agreement, praise, or saying what you wrote about is only one step. You need to engage ideas thoughtfully. Criteria for Evaluation Your answers should be developed thoroughly. You should provide specific examples from the speech. You should explain your examples. A handful of sentences dashed off at the last minute will not get full credit. Writing that does not reach the minimum standards of college writing will not get full credit. If the work does not meet the minimum requirements of the assignment, I reserve the right to give zero credit. This is college, and from my point of view, the purpose of general education classes is education.
