CASE STUDY – PART ASSESSMENT DATA TAKEN FROM CHIN LEE (Taken in January 2016) “Chin Lee is a 26 year old woman born in China of Chinese ethnicity. She lives with her Singapore born husband in an HDB flat in Jurong. Chin Lee completed high school in China and came to Singapore to attend University (Bachelor Degree in Commerce). She is currently an administrator for a large business organisation in Singapore. She has a past history of severe eczema which she has had since childhood and she was diagnosed with mild asthma 10 years ago. Her eczema mainly impacts her hands, head and torso. She is currently prescribed a Ventolin puffer prn and various creams for her eczema, but also admitted that she takes Chinese medicine for these conditions on occasion. States she works very long hours as an administrator and finds her job quite stressful. States her partner is supportive of her. Has had most childhood immunizations. Thinks she last had a flu injection in 2015. Has no known allergies but does think she has temperature/humidity sensitivities that can affect her eczema. Has a past family history of Asthma (father - alive); diabetes (mother - alive); and IHD (paternal Uncle - deceased). She last went to a Polyclinic to visit a Doctor in late 2015.
