Summary
Internet of Things (IoT) has a significant role to play in the development of healthcare facilities. Mobile devices are used to collect data for ECG and other health issues. According to the views of Hossain and Muhammad (2016), the data can be accessed by the professional anytime anywhere, which makes it easy for the professional to treat the specific patient. Simulation and deploying of IOT-driven ECG-based health monitoring services in the cloud. It is going to affect the hospitability and drug industry. It will increase the swiftness of response to diseases.
Critique
Use of IOT requires heavy investment in infrastructure and technology. Therefore, normal care centres may not afford the same. In addition to that, it requires storage of data on cloud, the leak of which may be an issue for the organisation. This article has enabled me to learn the use of IOT in the health care industry. IOT has a significant role to play in the health care industry.

Hossain, M., Islam, S. R., Ali, F., Kwak, K. S., & Hasan, R. (2018). An Internet of Things-based health prescription assistant and its security system design. Future Generation Computer Systems, 82, 422-439.
Summary
The paper by Hossain, Islam, Ali, Kwak and Hasan (2018) presents an IoT-based Health Prescription Assistant (HPA) that assists every patient to follow all the recommendations of their doctors without any confusion or problem. It connects the smart objects of the patient such as their home, their body sensor making Body Area Network and the medical instrument to let them follow the doctor’s instructions properly. Its special feature is that it connects the sub-networks to different databases. It will come out in 2019 and will be priced at a very affordable costs for patients. It will affect the medicine and health industry by helping the patients not miss their medicines or take wrong medicines.
Critique
Hence, this source of information helped to understand the usefulness of assistive technology that has not only supported healthcare delivery to remote places but also made it affordable for all.

Summary
Monitoring of post medical data and various medical parameters is of prime importance for the patient. As per the views of Kale and Bhagwat (2016), the health care professionals to access the patients’ medical parameters in remote areas use IoT. The sole objective of using IOT is to transmit the health of patient monitoring parameters to the professionals. Drones are used in modern day to supply medicines in remote areas. The input data is uploaded in the client’s serves, which can be accessed by the mobile of compute by the family of patient or reference doctor. This has enabled the doctors to provide timely health care to the patient. The technology is having an impact on the healthcare industry. Healthcare centres are able to provide service at location where they do not have a physical existence.
Critique
The information provided in the article has been helpful in establishing a clear understanding of the use of IOT in healthcare industry. As the technology is new, it has a significant cost. Due to this, the health care centres are unable to procure such technology. In addition to that, the service provided through distance communication is not similar to that provided physically by the professionals.

Senthilkumar, R., Ponmagal, R. S., & Sujatha, K. (2016). Efficient health care monitoring and emergency management system using IoT. International Journal of Control Theory and Applications, 9(4), 137-145.
Summary
IoT have materialised, because of the advent in information and communication technologies. Deployment of IOT can be seen is healthcare industry. Storage of data in cloud has ensured that the data is available anytime anywhere. This has ensured speedy sharing of information related to patients. According to the perspective of Senthilkumar, Ponmagal and Sujatha (2016), the operational cost of managing the data has become low due to introduction of clouds.
The data can be stored in clouds or servers that can be taken on rent. Small organisations need to set up their own servers. In fact, they can rent some space on servers and can access the data anytime anywhere. The response time is less and has a positive impact on the health care industry. The quality of service can be improved, if the right data is available at the right place at the right point of time.
