The present study highlighted the significance of Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as the useful tool to analyze and prevent suicidal tendency and depression. The research outcome highlights the crucial role of CBT in the process of curing the mental disorders that youth generally encounter for many reasons. The target population/selected participants for the study were 54 patients having mild to moderate level of depression.
These patients went through randomized control trial (RCT) and they were instructed about the significance of exercise in improving quality of life. The results of the study showed positive influences of exercise in gaining mental strength and development of will power. The group of patients received weekly CBT sessions for 12 weeks continuously and they showed prominent improvement in their mindset.
Based on the impacts and evaluation of the course of CBT in ideating depression, exercise can play decisive role. This formulates the interest in the process of intervening with CBT for those who suffer because of unwanted depression. It hurdles their quality of life. This study can be useful in providing fruitful results and added insights to the process of chosen research topic of interest. However, as per the limitations mentioned, this would be better, if follow up procedure could be improved for the patients/participants. The post follow up would ensure that the impacts are influential for longer durations than they are expected to be.
