Introduction
AZELLA Score is basically a proficiency assessment
test focused on determining knowledge of English language. This essay will give a brief introduction to ‘AZELLA score’ and determining the proficiency of English from different criteria. Nevertheless, this essay will analyze English proficiency level of 15 students those are currently studying in 7th standard. A classroom activity is going to take place in the class but it is unsure about how the groups will be created, therefore, this essay will give the outline of process behind development of groups and proper rationale behind choosing each member in a group.
Discussion
If a person does not have a proper grip on a particular language then the person will not be able to communicate with people in an effective way. As stated by Hawanti (2014), schools are highly responsible behind lack of growth about a language within a child. AZELLA score is a well-known parameter that allows users to determine the knowledge of students on English language.
While going through the provided AZELLA scorecard it is found that knowledge of English within a student is segmented into four different aspects. The first aspect is reading label, second one is ‘writing label’, the third one is ‘listing label’ and the last one is ‘speaking label’.
