Effect on population:
In the given ecosystem chart trees played a base foundation for the entire ecosystem followed by beaver contribution in building of dam which holds water from rainfall. This increases the food supply to prey species. As birds, small mammals depend on insects and aquatic food for survival which has less competence giving a way for increased food supply hence rise in population of these species is visible.
