Analyze Goethe’sFaust, Part Oneas an aesthetic experiment. You may refer to Schiller’sAesthetic Letters(1-9) in formulating your response, but you arenotrequired to do so. Base your answers on the material covered in class and on the text (Faust). You arenotexpected to do any outside research.

Essay length: 5-8 pages, typed, double-spaced, 11- or 12-point font, margins(roughly 350 words per page, 1750- 2800 words total). Do not use wide margins, large headers, or large font to fill up space!
I will look at word count, rather than number of pages, to determine essay length.
