An inductor with unknown inductance storing an unknown amount of energy is connected to a 5kΩ resistor at time t = 0 to form a complete circuit (Figure 5.77). An ammeter, denoted by the encircled letter “A” in the circuit, records the current in the circuit at regular time intervals (Table 5.11). Using numerical integration, find the total energy dissipated by the resistor and the inductance of the inductor.
