Some suggestions are:

Fast Food Restaurant

Make a program that has several food items on the menu with prices. The user will  select the items and quantity they want. The computer will calculate the total price of the items, add the tax and present the bill to the user.

You can add features to the program like getting money and giving change, asking for  more money if the user does not enter enough money and asking if the user wants to  change their order.
