Although poor people are the predominant recipients of welfare, they are not one and the same, especially with regard to how people feel about each group. Using ANES data, run t-tests comparing people who claim they are extremely liberal with those who claim they are extremely conservative. Compare them on two of the feeling thermometers: for the poor, and for people on welfare. Interpret your results.
