Introduction
Public transportation is necessity of any city in the world. It is an important contributing factor, which supports sustainability of urbanisation of the city. Effective public transport network helps the people of the city by meeting their commuting needs and improving the accessibility of people towards different places. Use of public transport has many advantages such as it contributed towards lowering the per capita carbon footprint of the city and helping common public to commute. New Zealand’s main public transport is Bus, whereas in some areas it is train or ferries (New Zealand, 2019).
Auckland city transport is facing many issues in comparison to any other developed cities. For example, New York rail transport system. On the contrary, Auckland has very short Rail transport system (The Spinoff, 2017). Auckland city transport faces many key issues such as poor public transport network, delaying of public transport and congestion on the road.     There are very high congestions of the traffic on the road.
