Aims:

This course is to promote understanding of the concept of community action andengagement and relate it within the broader contexts and police around publichealth, wellbeing and community engagement. It is both theoretical and practical andwill look at various ways of doing and facilitating community action engagement andresearch. Students will also be encouraged to reflect critically on any public health,voluntary and community activity that they are engaged in or may in the future.
