Elder abuse sometimes takes place between adult children and their elderly parents. In this selection, two women talk about their abuse. Please discuss the following questions:

1. In what ways might the women in this selection be partly dependent on their abusive sons?


2. What policies might help them become less dependent?


3. What factors make it hard for the women in this video to set boundaries with their abusers?
