CRE101 Library Resources Assignment Points Possible: 50 This assignment is designed to help you interpret, analyze and synthesize the various sources you found on the GCC Library database. In order to complete the assignment you will need to write a paragraph for each of the three articles you found during the library research day. One article should be from a popular magazine or newspaper, one from a trade publication, and one from a scholarly journal. Each of the three paragraphs must include the following information: The title of the article, title of the source (magazine, journal, etc. title), and author’s name and credentials (why is the author credible? Where do they work? What degree do they have, etc.). A brief summary of the main point of the article (3-4 sentences). The relevance and/or usefulness of the article in helping you with your paper. Be specific and mention what you learned and which goal the article is most relevant for. A works cited page using MLA formatting. The assignment should follow basic MLA guidelines such as 1 inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced, with heading in the upper left-hand corner. The assignment is out of 50 points and needs to be turned in with the library exercises you completed in class.
