Indigenous rights in Australia and Canada:
As per the article eleven the indigenous people in Australia have the basic right to live in a free, peaceful and secured society or environment. These people also have the rights to ensure that they are free from genocide and is safe from other acts of violence and also do have the rights to take care of their children, practice their cultural rituals and traditions in peace. In case of the constitution act of Canada also the same rights are being mentioned in the case of the indigenous people. In both these countries these people have specific land rights depending on which they get land allotment for their livelihood and domicile. In case of political recognition and exercise of constitutional rights also the indigenous people of these countries enjoy certain amount of quota and representation in today’s governance.
