Affirmative action remains a contentious issue in areas of employment, school admissions, and government policies. Yet, many companies use a form of affirmative action to create a diverse workforce. Using the Internet, find a company with an affirmative action policy and review the policy. Using the test set forth in Adarand Constructors, Inc. v. Pena and EEOC guidelines, determine whether the affirmative action policy would withstand a legal challenge. Why or why not?
