Ethics and Profession
I am a simple employee and have to primarily take care of my family by virtue of getting salary and
incentives, if applicable. My job, my family upkeep, my customers who believe in my word, my
professional ethics and my self-
beliefs, these all are under focus in present dilemma faced. My
professional pressures are goading me to reach if not surpass my targets even at a cost of 'influencing'
my customers to go for 'unwanted' upgrades. I may simply lose my job thereby affecting my family and

norms. My dignity and respect are of prime importance to me and any action that I will take will have to
be measured from all angles. The ethical dimensions are multifold; self beliefs, cultural standpoints,
familial responsibility, organizational duties, customer ethics, professional ethics, moral responsibility,
being responsible for the team and overall survival in business. I can't talk to my team and/or friends as I
am skeptical about the moral right or wrong my talking will ensue. My mechanics team seems to be
justified in their stand about me being responsible for their family as their job ensures bread on their
tables.
There are repercussions to the decisions to be made and they have to be looked in toto before I take
them. I...
