(Administrators only.) Start Wireshark running, and activate the packet capture on the LAN interface. Do the following:
a. Locate an ARP Response packet originated by your computer. Provide the following information from the packet:
• The packet’s frame number
• The requester’s IP and MAC addresses
• The responder’s IP and MAC addresses
b. Find the ARP Request packet that produced that response. Provide the following information from that packet:
• The packet’s frame number
• The requester’s IP and MAC addresses
• The MAC address on the packet
c. Dump the ARP cache on your computer. Provide a copy of that information. You may cut and paste the text if you want, screen capture it, or transcribe it by hand.
