According to the Kinsey report, although about one third of all men have engaged in homosexual behavior at one time in their lives, only about 8% have had exclusively gay relationships for 3 or more years, and only 4% have been exclusively gay throughout their lives. About two thirds of gay men have had sex with a woman, and 10% to 15% of gay men may be more accurately viewed as bisexual (Reinisch & Beasley, 1990).
