I have visited Starbucks store.
The results of my observation

  • 4 sizes available. Short: 8oz, tall: 12oz, Grande: 16oz, and Venti: 20oz.

  • Women, more commonly than men, order ‘skinny’ drinks, which have fewer calories.

  • You can order your drink your own way that you want.

  • Starbucks makes about $10.7 billion a year.

  • You can choose espresso, which gives you more caffeine and flavor.

  • You can choose syrup, which comes in many different flavors.

  • Choose either whole, milk, fat-free milk, or organic.

  • Choose other special options such as sugar, whipped cream, or how hot you want your drink.

  • There are also blended beverages.

  • In the summer, more frappuccinos, which are a cold blended, beverage, are sold.

  • In the fall, specialty drinks are most popular such as the pumpkin spice latte, among others.

  • In the winter regular coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos are the most popular.

  • Women are more likely to choose whipped cream or chocolate with their drinks.

  • An average customer will visit a store 6 times a month, with regular customers visiting at least 16 times per month.

  • Over 87,000 different drink combinations.

  • Starbucks uses 2.3 billion paper cups a year.

  • A Grande cup of coffee at Starbucks has 320mg of caffeine.
