A running track has straight parallel sides and semicircular ends with one lap measuring m meters along the inside curb. The lanes are numbered outward from this curb, and each is one meter wide. Jack and Jill decide to have a four-lap race (i.e. 4 m meters) with each runner agreeing to run only in his/her lane. If Jack runs in lane two, how far ahead of jill should be begin if the finish line is jill's starting point?
