A research study in 2011 reported that 37% of female college students in UAE were classified as vitamin D insufficient. In the past few years, health authorities in UAE launched several campaigns to raise the public awareness on vitamin D deficiency. In a recent survey of 900 female college students, 297 were vitamin D insufficient. At 5% significance level, do these data provide sufficient evidence that the Vitamin D health awareness campaigns were effective?
