The design discharge is 200 cfs and the downstream channel runs a long distance on a slope of 0.001 ft/ft with a Manning n value of 0.030. The downstream invert of the culvert will be at elevation 0.00 ft and the culvert must be 100 ft long. The elevation of the top of the embankment is 22 ft. It is desired to design a culvert to carry the design discharge with a maximum upstream water level no higher than 2 feet below the top of the embankment. Determine the minimum diameter RCP to accomplish this task.
