from a storage vessel that operates at a gauge pressure of 2 bar at a distance of 2 km away. The connecting pipeline available is horizontal and has an internal diameter of 75 mm discharging submerged into a receiving vessel, which is held at a gauge pressure of 5 bar. The level of the liquid in the storage vessel is to be held constant at 5 m above the ground (datum), and the level of the receiving vessel is 10 m above the datum. Determine the power required for pumping if the efficiency of the pump is 65%.
