Las Vegas is one of the most popular entertainment tourist destinations not only in Southern United States but also in the world. It houses over 30% population employees in the hospitality industry in Southwest region alone. The economy here is mainly dependent on the resorts, and casino, bars, stadiums and the entertainment hubs. With the ongoing nature of the pandemic, that has engulfed not only the U.S. but also almost all countries of the world; the hospitality industry in Las Vegas looks bleak.
The lights might be dimming for the economy of Las Vegas. Current scenario means that the entire businesses are shut down in Vegas.
