A number of older men in recent years have fathered children while in their 50s and 60s, including Paul McCartney, Michael Douglas, and Larry King. Have they (or their younger wives) experienced stigma because of it? What if the reverse occurred—a 55-year-old woman had a baby with her 35-year-old husband? Is there a double standard?
