A new economy car is being introduced which has a choice of six different options. How many versions of this car are possible?
The buyer can choose from 0 options to all 6 options, so 7 different Combination possibilities must be calculated and then added together. Logically there is only one way to have no options and only one way to have all six options. Use the combination formula for having 1 through 5 options. You will notice a pattern where 3 options has the most combinations.
