If I started a company, I would like my partner to be altruistic, Because in the same description of altruism, clarity and simplicity is also included, where it can improve the internal or external customer experience or the efficiency of operations with large data and new technologies available. Simple can be more difficult than complex: getting it is hard work that involves thinking clearly.
the second factor is Acceptability where the person No matter what you may think of someone as a person, it is very difficult to criticize them in ethical terms if they are really dedicating themselves for the well-being of everyone else. And finally, it also describes the flexibility of the person, not only in schedules but also in the Metaphorical sense, it is understood by a flexible person who adjusts to his or her surroundings and capable of accommodating, as opposed to a strict person. According to our textbook, utilitarianism is the ethical belief that an act is recommendable if it brings the greatest good to the greatest number, if it increases net happiness—or decreases net unhappiness—when everyone is taken into account. If I were to own a small business, for this example it is a architecture business. I would prefer that my partner is an utilitarian. My partner would plan out designs for residential and commercial locations that will serve the greater good for most people. No one will like to purchase a house that is not well thought out or that is not convenient. By having an utilitarian partner, the greater amount of the family, will benefit from having a house that better suites them. The utilitarian partner plans out designs based on the families need and not based on what he/she thinks is better if it was his/her own house.
This works out well when planning out commercial locations too. When planing out the idea for a restaurant for an example, the utilitarian thinks about the convenience of having larger restrooms. Instead of having one unisex restroom with only one toilet and hand washing sink, it is better to have a men restroom and women restroom with multiple stalls/sinks. This will benefit all customers in the restaurant by not having to wait in line for others to leave the restroom. The employee who needs to clean the restrooms at the end of the day may not like that the restrooms are big because it takes a longer time to clean. However, it is more important to have the customers happy and having a pleasant visit in order to keep business successful. Having larger restrooms outweighs the happiness of customers than the burden for employees who cleans the restrooms at the end of the night.
