Introduction
Every company forms cert
ain strategies based on that they work and they try to achieve the organizational goals. Among the different kinds of strategies, one such strategy is the development of a marketing plan. Marketing plan is a strategic roadmap of a business organization, based on which the company achieve their marketing goals. In this paper, the detailed discussion will be made with respect to the formation of the marketing plan along with the consideration of the different kinds of factors such as SWOT analysis, the elements of marketing plan and types of marketing strategies.
Marketing Plan
A marketing plan of a company is the blue print, on which the company forms their strategies and based on that, the company achieves their desired target. It is the organizing, executing and keeping a track of the marketing strategy. Ahmed (2016) discussed that the marketing plan can consist of a separate marketing strategies and for that the different marketing teams across the company, however they all work together to achieve the common organizational goals.
There are different kinds of marketing plan. Based on them, the company forms their strategy. Captan, Bulabos, Mazo and Mandigma (2019) further added that the different kinds of marketing such as quarterly or annual marketing plan contain the companies’ strategies for a certain period of time. There is paid marketing plan, which are the paid strategies or the media promotions done by the company.
There is social media marketing plan, which contains the channel of marketing, content marketing plan, which highlights different kinds of strategies, tactics and the campaigns as well as the new product launch marketing plan, which is the strategies or tactics, which are adopted for any new product to be launched in the market.
