A major application of the dimensional analysis procedure and its results, including the laws of similitude, in fluid flow is for problems that are too complex to be modeled by the application of pure theory. In particular, the modeling of flow resistance (due to turbulent flow) in internal and external real fluid flow is too complex for theoretical solution. List the flow resistance equations in fluid flow, which require the application of the dimensional analysis procedure and its results, including the laws of similitude. Furthermore, briefly explain the role of each (dimensional analysis and dynamic similitude) in the modeling of flow resistance.
