A hummingbird and a bee leave the same spot and start flying up and down in an eastward direction according to the equations:
h(x) = x3
- 9x2
+ 110, and
b(x) = 30sinx+ 50, where xi s how far east each has flown in metres and
h
and
b

are their respective heights above the ground in metres. When each has flown 20 metres east they stop following their functional paths and continue flying in the orientation they have at that point in their journeys. What’s the difference in their heights after each has flown 30 metres east from their initial position?
