A hot air tunnel dryer is used to dry a filter press cake of titanium dioxide. The entering air is prepared by recycling a portionof the air discharged from the drier with fresh air at 30°C and 1 atm. The fresh air contains 0.015 kmol water/kmol dry air.The resulting mixture contains 0.045 kmol water/kmol dry air and is heated to 120°C and fed to the drier. Twenty kilogramsper hour of water is picked up from the material being dried. The outgoing air contains 0.089 kmol water/kmol dry air andis found to have a temperature of 75oC at 1 atm. Find the following:1. The fraction of the gross product air recycled.2. The volumetric flow rate of the recycle stream in m3/min.3. The volumetric flow rate of the fresh air in m3/min.
