(A) Divide the class into pairs or groups, and ask them to talk with their peers who are new to their L2 social and cultural contexts about a particular cultural or discursive practice they may not agree with or share with other people in the same L2 discourse community. Have them talk about any conflicts and frustrations they have experienced in their L2 practice and how they dealt with those challenges.
