A convergent-divergent nozzle is fitted into the vertical side of a water tank, as shown in Figure P5.23. The pressure head at the throat is -1.9 m. The water level in the rank is 1.5 m above the center line of the nozzle and the nozzle discharges 4.5 1/s of water. Assuming that no losses rake place in the convergent part of the nozzle and the losses in the divergent part are 0.18 times the velocity head at the exit, determine the throat and exit diameters of the nozzle.
